Please be careful that 0 JPY when you resister does not mean that hotel fee is free. You have to pay 18,900 JPY for 5 nights at Hiroshima International Youth House when you check in.

POMBE2023 registration system has been closed.Cancellation Policy
Refund of payment in case of registration cancellation is:- Cancellation within 55 days after payment: 100% refund.
- After 55 days from registration, the refund will be made after deducting the refund fee.
- Cancellation after April 30, 2023 will not be proceeded and not be refunded.

For participants whose application for Visa is a mandatory action to enter Japan, please contact us (info_a_fission-yeast2023.org) no later than April 20th 2023. We will prepare documents you need at a reasonable fee only if you have paid registration fee and visa handling charge at the registration system.
* Please exchange “_a_” to @Please be careful that if your nationality does not necessitate visa, you do not need to pay visa handling fee when you register. Please check it before you register.
Details of VISA Procedures
All citizens who are required to apply for visas to enter Japan must apply in person at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in their country.For authors of accepted abstracts, we will prepare the documents for visa application and an invitation letter upon request.
As a rule, this procedure is applicable only to the authors of accepted abstracts who have already paid the registration fee through the conference registration system.
We only support visa application for attending the conference.

Applicants should satisfy all the following conditions.
- The applicant is an author of an accepted abstract.
- The applicant has registered for the conference and paid the registration fee.

3: We will return the below documents to the applicant by e-mail.

- Itinerary in Japan
- Letter of Guarantee
- Other necessary documents
4: The applicant applies to the visa at his/her country’s Japan Embassy /Consulate General with documents both prepared by the applicant and sent by the conference visa staff.
The application must be done after Feb. 28th due to the period of Visa validity (3 months).5: Obtain visa (Enter Japan within 3 months)
Invitation Letter
If requested by a university/institute, a separate Invitation will be prepared. This Invitation is not valid for VISA application. If you need it, please pay the optional Invitation Letter 1,000 JPY in Registration and request it to the POMBE2023 secretariat.
